I decided to honour the remarkable contributions of Georg Olden, a trailblazer in both the African-American television and graphic design realms, by creating my final project as a motion graphic reminiscent of the classic CBS logo animation.
Having thoroughly studied Olden's work and considering the project's directive to pay tribute or infuse elements of his style into our own, I injected a touch of my playful personality into the piece. I added a humorous eye twitch at the beginning to engage the audience. While addressing a significant topic, I maintained a lively and innovative approach throughout, incorporating dynamic motion and typography changes.
In the concluding moments of the video, I designed it to seamlessly loop, creating a somewhat hypnotic effect akin to the immersive experience television often provides.
